Compliments From Our Visitors
What our visitors have to say about Dashwood
‘Thank you for having us for the assemblies last week. I must say I was so impressed with how engaged the children were, and well behaved too (especially for the end of the day)! Hats off to all you staff!’ (MHST, July 2024). Feedback received from the Mental Health Service Team after the delivery of year group assemblies.

On a Year 4 trip to Cadbury’s World, a manager told Dashwood Staff that:
‘The children were a credit to the school’, and that other staff I spoke to along the way complimented how polite the children were, ‘chocolatiers in the making!’ (May 2024)
Year 5 pupils visited Trinity College (July 2023) as part of their Careers Development and our wider curriculum opportunities, to find out what university life is like, how to apply, what courses are available and career prospects post graduation: They were truly inspired with many setting their aspirations high and setting their determination to a place at Oxford University!
Rob Harrison, Access Officer at Trinity College, commented on the visit and our Dashwood pupils:
‘An absolute delight – genuinely one of the friendliest and most inquisitive groups I’ve welcomed to college. Really enjoyed meeting your students, and I am glad they had such a positive day.’
‘Thank you so much for letting us into your wonderful school to deliver a Be Internet Legends assembly. We wanted to say a HUGE thank-you to all the pupils and staff for making the experience so memorable!
Jez and Paulette (assembly presenters) said it was a pleasure to meet such a lovely group of children.’

Our Year 6 pupils recently visited Junior Citizens at Oxford Fire Station (June 2023) and received this comment on their return back to school:
‘The pupils were truly a credit to the school, they were respectful of each others’ views and had some wonderful answers and a lot of knowledge. It was a pleasure to meet them.’
