Sewing Club

Puppets made by Sewing Club

A group of ten boys and girls have been developing their sewing skills this term in Miss Shaw's afterschool sewing club. They have been taking inspirations from images to design and make their own puppet (and accessories) or a flower. The children worked with felt, embroidery threads and careful stitching to complete their stitched item. There was always a calm and relaxed atmosphere and the children have worked hard each week. The adults have been delighted to see the children's independence grow week by week.

Thank you to Miss Shaw for all the effort she has given to making the club so engaging for all with fantastic outcomes. Thank you also to Jack's grandmother for giving up her time to help each week.
