Term 4

Learning about climate change … and how an elephant got its hump!

Year 2 have been really passionate about climate change and have been creating adverts to protect polar bears. We used our knowledge of climate change to create our own investigation about greenhouse gases, where we looked at how long it would take ice to melt within different situations. 

Year 2 have also made up and written their own flaw story about how an elephant got its hump! We have had some great results with a range of adjectives and adverbs.

Hansel and Gretel

We are so proud of how hard year 2 have worked to put on their performance of Hansel and Gretel. They have persevered when learning the 8 different songs as well as their lines.

Thank you to all the parents for your support with helping your child learn their lines, providing costumes and other support at home. We hope you enjoyed watching the show as much.
